Let the Preparations Begin
The Christmas preparations have begun. Given all of the decorating, baking, cooking, shopping, other tasks and events of this season, I have to begin my preparations for Christmas almost immediately in November. It is a lot of work, but I love doing it. For me, the joy of the holiday season is found first and foremost in its meaning, secondly in family. That said, sharing the sights, smells, events and blessings of the seasons with family, friends, church and neighbors is such a great joy. The decorating, shopping, cooking, baking, hosting and more is fun for me, but is meant to bless others. I am thankful for this wonderful season and wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
