Thankful
I am very thankful. Its clear, even in difficult moments that I have much to be thankful for. I have a wonderful, beautiful, healthy and richly connected family. I am so thankful to be in a place in life where I can serve God in the church, serve within my community and still have time to be with my children and family. I am thankful that God has entrusted me to serve in the variety of ways that I have. As I reflect on the start of this new year, I can see how many great things have happened, often the small things. I can also see the challenges that lie ahead. Most importantly, I see incredible opportunities to continue to love and serve with my best efforts. In the midst of my thankfulness, my hope and my challenge to myself is to be sure to keep my priorities straight, my heart pure, my mind focused and my life humble. God is beyond good and infinitely gracious. For these reasons and many more, I am deeply thankful.
